Hi I am Kimberley Correia from Holy Spirit College Lakemba.
I consider myself intermediate when it comes to using ICT in the classroom - love making Keynote presentations etc.. I am doing Web 2.0 to fine tune my current skill level in using Web tools and to learn news ways of incorporating Web tools into my classes at school.
I found 25 Tools: A Toolbox for Learning Professionals 2009 absolutely fantastic to watch and read... i've heard many of the jargon listed but wasn't too sure about what they meant or did....
I am currently using NING for my Year 12 Geography class. An excellent way to have students look at websites and videos on You tube (great resource for short clips for Geography). Ning allows me to conduct forums, discussion and send/receive emails from 'stressed' HSC students.
Looking forward to the the Web 2.0 learning.
I've also created my blogger page and igoogle page... too many gadgets to pick from. The selection is fabulous.. so many great GEOGRAPHY gadgets that i can use specifically for my classes.
