Extremely fascinating the Web 2.0 tools available to be used. So many tools and so many different ways of using them effectively. I quite often use You tube in class to show content.

My Year 11 Geography class about love watching Story about Stuff - stories. This cover many geographic and economic issues facing the world. It loks at stuff, cosmetics, bottled water and cap & trade.

The key thing that I have learned through reviewing Module 1 and 2 is the wide range of tools available to be used especially for GEOGRAPHY- my area of teaching. I want to investigate the use of Google Earth in Geography as well....

The current generation of students use these tools all the time for social interacting with family and friends. Using Web 2.0 tools will assist in the engagement and motivation of students.

Many students now have access to computers and even laptops in the class.

BLOGS - sharing of news is a two way street... appears quite simple and writing and pressing enter. Appears to good way to create study notes for senior classes. Will look at creating a blog for Year 12 Geography 2010/2011 (my current Year 11s)
